Mark Burgess

Mark has a strong background in technology, starting out his career at the old Securicor Group.

After moving to the NHS in West Suffolk, Mark joined an accounting business in Exeter in 2001. Tasked with driving growth in their Sage and technology businesses, they were acquired by a top 15 UK firm shortly after. Mark was made part owner of this newly formed IT consulting business, providing support to over 50 offices within the group. He also played a key role in developing their service growth into other Top 100 firms.

His expertise in practice solutions, AI, and automation positions him to deliver exceptional service to clients. Mark believes that technology plays a pivotal role in the accounting industry and is passionate about building strategic partnerships with other firms.

Mark has joined Mazuma as our Accountancy Partnership Lead and is focused on building strong relationships with other practices to deliver sustainable growth and profitability.

In his spare time, Mark spends time with family and friends and watching sports.
