Earlier this week Sophie Hughes, Operations Director of Mazuma, represented SMEs when meeting with Prince Charles and accountancy bodies aboard The Royal Train to discuss why and how Accountants can help create a sustainable Wales.
The meeting served as the Accounting for Sustainability Wales Forum - a collaboration also including the Prince of Wales' Accounting for Sustainability Initiative, the Welsh Assembly Government and Sustainable Development Commission Wales - aimed at promoting issues of sustainability within Welsh organisations. This is the first such collaboration between the accounting bodies in Wales.
Sophie Hughes comments: "I am delighted to represent both Mazuma and SMEs at this very important meeting with HRH. It is an honour to know that Mazuma were selected to attend because of both our accounting expertise and our close work with the SME sector in Wales and the UK, and I look forward to the outcome from this meeting."
